Hello Everyone, long time no see, still been busy in the garden demolishing it bit by bit. We finally managed to cut down the overgrown fruit trees in the back, they were only supposed to be 6 feet tall and with neglect over the last four years they grew to a height of around 20 feet.
Anyways I'm here with my first card for Hobbycutz Challenges.
If you've not heard of Hobbycutz yet, let me tell you they are gorgeous lasercuts done by the owner Kobie Fouche and they are fabulous to work with, you can leave them plain or do as I did which was to paint them with chalk paint in lilac, then put some frantage on top and some glass glitter in purple. I then glued them down to my card. The image is from our sponsor this week which is crafts and me. I altered the image in Paint Shop Pro to give it a pinkish purple tinge to complement the papers. The papers are from Bearly Mine Digi Set "Vintage Fantasy". Die cuts are from Marianne Designs and Go Kreate and all the gorgeous blooms are from I Am Roses.
Our challenge theme this week is "Recyle It" and I've used white ribbon from a new top to make a bow and also used some gold mesh from a mesh bag I had to add to the flowers.
This is just one of three blog posts for today, we've had no internet for two days and then only intermittmently for three days, so please do check out my other posts for today.
