Good Morning, I'm here for the second time today, this time with my card for Cheery Lynn Designs.
I'm following the theme this week over on the challenge blog where we'd like to see you adding snowflakes to your card. Remember you must use a Cheery Lynn Die in order to enter the challenge.
I was tempted to make an early start on my Christmas cards for this Christmas but changed my mind.
To create my card, I used one of the papers from my Digi Set "Winter's Swirl" laid on top of blue cardstock. The mesh border was cut out and then laid on top of some silver glitter paper, with the Lady Kate Edger underneath top and bottom. I then popped up the Chasing Rainbows Lace Doily with Angel Wing onto blue cardstock cut out with the Angel Wing, the sentiment was computer generated and laid on top. I added the Small Lace Faerie Queen with Angel Wing, again cutting out the Angel wing with the same silver glitter paper.
The corners are from the Lace Corner Deco E set and in keeping with the challenge theme, I've scattered a few snowflakes around using the Snowflowers #2 and the Snowflakes.
Now unfortunately in this picture you can't see, but both the Lace Faerie Queen and the Chasing Rainbows Doily have been sprayed with Crafter's Companion Iridescent Spray to give a lovely shimmer to them. I just wished the camera had picked it up.

This is a lovely card. I like the idea of butterflies and snowflakes together.
The mesh looks very pretty and so does the butterfly with the silver sparkle peeking through the filigree
