And the Winner is.......................

Good evening one and all..............I'm here to announce the winner of my birthday blog candy, but first I want to thank all of my followers for being there for me during this trying time of this strange illness. I'm off to see physio this Friday to see what they have come up with, but one of my lovely followers suggested getting my Dr. to order a tens machine, but rather than waiting I ordered one myself and it arrived today, so I am trying that on my lower back to see if it will help with the pain and will also try it tomorrow on my arms to see what happens, as the pain pills I have been prescribed do absolutely nothing for the pains in my hands. I do wish someone could come up with a solution for the feelings in my fingertips, from the knuckle to the fingertip it feels absolutely frozen all the time from the time I wake up till I go to sleep at night, and some nights I don't get any sleep due to the constant freezing feeling. I've tried dipping them in ice water, I've tried hot water, placing them in a heating pad, nothing gets rid of the feeling. Imagine dipping your fingers in ice water until it's frozen your fingertips, that's what it's like for me 24/7 and it really is impeding me doing much, although I can manage to do die cutting which I have been doing, so I'm working on building up a supply of them so they are ready to just grab when I want to add one to a card.

Anyways..........I should announce the winner of my blog candy, and that is, as chosen by Random.org
Number 21 which is Frea, so if you could please email me with your choice of 5 digi's from Kenny K, I can get that sorted for you, as well as send your name to The Paper Shelter for your gift certificate, and also get your dies, ribbons and flowers out to you.

Congratulations Frea...........and thank to you all that entered.

~hugs~

Good Luck at the therapy on Friday! My Mom used a tens machine way back in the 1980's. I am sure they have improved a lot since then.
I can see the pile of die cuts piling up now! Kody will have a ball playing with them if they are not in a box. LOL!

Congratulations to Frea, too!

Hiya Donna,

Congrats to Frea.

Numbness and freezing fingertips,I have Lymphodema and both my hands go numb and are frozen all day but the left is the worst.

Try keeping gloves on until you need to do something and I find if I put my hands under my arms it gives some relief for a little while.Keep a small hot water bottle beside you and with gloves on as the sensation in your hands is not very good - you have to be careful.Cuddle the bottle with both hands. It will feel strange and tingle but will lift some of the cold from your hands.

Keep stroking your hands and stimulating your circulation when you can - I hold each hand in turn to generate heat - the fingers in the other hand.

These are just a few things that help me a little and give me some relief.

If you have tried these things, thats great but if not I hope that these little tips are of some use to you hunny!

Wishing, hoping and praying that you find a way to resolve your pain and continue with your crafting hunny!
And that you find an answer and a cure.

Have sent you an e mail too hunny.

Take care
Big Hugs
